Reduced cost for State Workers Insurance Members

Drug Free Pennsylvania’s partnership with State Workers’ Insurance Fund (SWIF) offers their policyholders with premiums greater than $20,000 a credit on their workers’ compensation policy premium based on their level of participation in the Drug-Free WorkPlace Solutions program.

Since the program began in 2001, $954,179.00 in premium discounts have been issued to SWIF policyholders who joined the Drug-Free WorkPlace Solutions program. That’s almost a million dollars in discounts!

These credits are intended to help you with some of the startup costs associated with implementing a drug-free workplace.

Employee Training & Certification

Employees experience the entire program online, beginning with a welcome screen that presents them with the training program(s) to which they have been assigned. Then, they proceed through a series of modules – each of which can be completed on its own, at any time. Each module consists of a short video presentation, followed by a series of straightforward quiz questions. After employees pass the quiz pertaining to each module, they are recognized for having successfully completed the program and are presented with a printable completion certificate.
